A photographer and artist living on Awabakal land in Newcastle. I came to photography the long way — via a fashion design degree at Whitehouse, then years working as a publicist for labels like Levi's and Sheridan, then years exploring and creating, acting and modelling. I was in front of the camera and also working behind the scenes on different projects in Australia and abroad.
It was on those sets that I quietly fell in love with the other side of the lens. The framing, the feeling, the way a photograph can hold something language can't. Eventually I picked up the camera myself — and I haven't really put it down since.
My work is inspired by old-world glamour and the softness and strength of our inner world. I make images that ask you to be still — to slow down and feel the beauty of being human.
